Our LaunchTime marketing experts had recently been assigned an Event Marketing project – to plan and execute a free community Easter egg hunt event for a local farm, Mad Mandarins https://madmandarins.com/.
With just two weeks before the event day to make this picture-perfect day a success, our team knew we had to get in gear!
We began by creating a flyer and brochure for the event (seen below) and did local market outreach. We then set up an event and attendee tracking system. Our team also designed all custom photography and content for several social media posts https://www.facebook.com/madmandarins to engage followers and gain recognition for the event.
Mad Mandarin’s goal was 100+ children to attend this event, but their realistic estimate of attendees with such a short lead time was less than 100.
Through LaunchTime’s print advertisement, social media advertisement, and local outreach efforts to connect with groups, we had a spectacular 128 children attend this event – making this even a great success!
In addition to attracting visitors, our marketing team suggested that Mad Mandarins sell their navel oranges during the event to demonstrate their product and earn revenue for the farm in the latter part of their season. Selling their oranges was very well-received by the visiting families, and Mad Mandarins SOLD OUT their oranges to customers that had never been to their farmstand before, but are now very likely to return!
